The IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) Managing Safely qualification is aimed at providing candidates with the essential knowledge, understanding, and skills to effectively manage health and safety within the workplace.

The IOSH qualification is assessed using the HABC assessment pack and is split into two parts:

Part One: This component is assessed through practical demonstration of workplace safety skills, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and the application of control measures.

Part Two: This knowledge-based assessment requires learners to answer a series of short answer questions via written or oral responses on IOSH principles and health and safety responsibilities.
