Our ISO-compliant First Aid Training is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge, understanding, and practical skills required to provide effective first aid at the workplace in line with international health and safety standards.
This course ensures that organizations meet ISO health & safety management requirements (ISO 45001: Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems) by training employees to handle emergencies confidently and maintain a safe working environment.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
Recognize and respond to workplace medical emergencies.
Provide first aid for injuries and major illnesses.

Demonstrate first aid for a casualty suffering from major illnesses including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma, and diabetes.
Describe the differences between using an AED on an adult and a child.
Identify safety considerations when using an automated external defibrillator.
Demonstrate the correct placement of AED electrode pads on a manikin.
Follow AED voice prompts accurately.
Demonstrate how to combine the use of an AED with minimal interruptions in CPR using a manikin.
Demonstrate the safe delivery of an AED shock.
State the procedures if the casualty shows signs of life and starts to breathe normally.
Identify the information required when handing over the casualty.
The qualification is assessed using the HABC Assessment Pack and is divided into two parts:
Part One – Practical Assessment
Learners are required to demonstrate their first aid skills through practical scenarios to ensure competence in real-life situations.
Part Two – Knowledge-Based Assessment
Learners must answer a series of short-answer questions either in written or oral form to demonstrate their understanding of first aid principles and workplace safety requirements.
